During the day I work as a mental health nurse and have seen first hand what kind of trauma is caused when people are not prepared to defend themselves. I have also heard stories of patients lurking around outside of hospitals after discharge to confront the healthcare staff that spent their shifts taking care of them. Thankfully, that has never happened to me. My mission is to provide a product that will not only help my fellow healthcare workers keep themselves safe, but also the general public. My hope is to reduce the amount of trauma and hospitalizations there are due to unwanted advances and physical attacks.
